Southlake – One Man Band: Greg Luce

Greg has been performing and entertaining crowds for over a decade and a half. With a combination of guitar, singing, looping pedal, and several music apps, his style continues to evolve with sounds ranging from simple piano and bass, to more intricate tones reminiscent to that of pop-EDM. Greg draws from a song list including a majority of Top 40 lists that span 5 decades, along with country, R&B, and more current hits that you would find on the radio.

Plano – Dave Chenoweth Unplugged

Still playing that funky music, Dave has played in classic rock bands and worship teams for decades, in-between taking time off to raise three daughters. Dave is a songwriter and with his former band, Justin Case, he co-produced the 1998 album, Case Closed. Today, Dave entertains crowds as a solo artist with a full experience that incorporates vocal harmonizers, looping, and backing tracks while playing and singing classic rock, current pop, blues, and country.

Plano – Singer-Songwriter Alexandra Tayara

Alexandra Tayara is a singer-songwriter based out of Denton, TX. Her body of work spans multiple genres ranging from the dark to the dreamy, inspired by indie folk, pop, and blues. She was trained classically as a mezzo-soprano, and transitioned into the folk/indie realm when she picked up the guitar. Her aim is to transform what she’s learned and experienced into accessible art, so that others may find solace.

Southlake – Singer-Songwriter Troy Allen

Troy Allen is a Fort Worth based country artist who loves singing and strumming to strangers or anyone with ears. He specializes in red dirt country as well as old school Nashville tunes covering everything from Waylon to Whiskey Myers.

Renner Middle School Fundraiser at Plano

Bring your school spirit when you visit to support Renner Middle School! A portion of all designated Renner Middle School orders will contribute back to the school, whether you’re dining-in or carrying-out. Feel free to join us for lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner or dessert because this is an all-day fundraiser! Just be sure to remind us that you’re supporting Renner Middle School!
In order to support our community and follow social distancing guidelines, all carry-out orders can easily be placed at TavernaRossa.com and pick-up curbside. For your safety, we have heightened our cleaning protocols and practices along with partnered with Xtreme Hygiene to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize all surfaces in the restaurant on a biweekly basis. All staff is required to wear masks and are regularly checked for COVID-19.

Plano – Hula Haze

Hula had a strong desire for music at an early age! He was 16 when he took to learning guitar. He preferred writing songs more than covering others’ material. Hula had a very wide range of influences: Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Beach Boys, Chicago, Led Zeppelin, Pat Travers, ZZ Top – just to name a few.

Always leaning towards being a Rocker! He put together a Texas Rock Band known as Bad Boy Blues and The Hulagans, both all original material rocking blues bands. Presently, Hula performs regular locally, regionally, and nationally gigs. He won the North Texas Blues Challenge in 2018 as a solo artist, and continues to write and play his own blend of rhythm and Blues!

Southlake – Singer-Songwriter Jeremy Phifer

Jeremy’s entry into the music world began at the age of eight when he received his first “Jr. Kit” drumset. After all, his dad Jerry Phifer is an exceptional lead guitarist well known all around north Texas and southern Oklahoma for his skills.

Eventually Jeremy picked up lead guitar and tended toward the versatile “Texas Red Dirt” sound with undertones ranging from punk rock to classic country. His band, Jeremy Phifer & the Texas BadWater Band, are beginning to carve a niche for themselves in the music world having won two of two competitions: Paris Idol contest in 2009 and Southeast Oklahoma competition of the 2010 Colgate Country Showdown. Jeremy writes a lot of his own music because he wants to have his own “sound”. He’s a hard worker and is ready to take his shot at success in the music world.

Plano – Acoustic Broken Code

Broken Code is a high energy Texas Rock ‘n’ Roll band based in the North Dallas area. They specializes in diversity. The band’s sets run the gamut from Classic Rock & Roadhouse Blues to good ol’ party on the patio hippie music.

Welcome Chadwick Cook for his return to the Southlake stage! Chadwick’s music can only be described as upbeat, entertaining band playing a huge selection of classic and contemporary hits with soulful vocals.
